Classifier Prep
This class is specifically designed to help shooters prepare for USPSA classifiers with the goal of improving or solidifying their classification. Students will focus on the key skills tested in classifier stages, including draw speed, target transitions, reloads, and rapid but accurate shot placement. The course will break down common classifier stages, emphasizing strategy, stage mechanics, and proper execution under pressure. Participants will run multiple classifier-style drills and receive individualized feedback to fine-tune their performance and boost consistency.
Perfect for competitors aiming to move up in classification or better understand what it takes to shoot classifiers at their full potential.
Topics Covered:
Understanding USPSA classifier structure and scoring
Proper execution of common classifier stage elements
Draw speed and first-shot accuracy
Fast and efficient reloads under time pressure
Target transitions and split-time management
Stage breakdown and classifier-specific strategies
Movement techniques for classifier stages (when applicable)
Mental preparation and performance consistency
Live runs of classifier-style stages with feedback and analysis
***This lesson includes a mock classifiers built for each student to run multiple times.***
